Tips - Easter Egg Program di Windows

Di beberapa program under Windows, banyak sekali terdapat easter egg. Bagi yang belum tau apa itu easter egg, bisa melihat posting saya sebelumnya : Secrets beneath Windows XP.




1. Spinning Fish.

• Masuk ke menu "Preferences" (Ctrl+P dari playlist editor),

• kemudian ke menu Plug-ins > Input. Click "Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder", lalu click About.

• Click gambar ikan untuk membuatnya berputar (klik kanan dan klik kiri akan memberikan efek perputaran yang berbeda).

2. Flashing Window.

• Buka WinAmp anda
• Pilih Modern Skin
  
• ketik NULLSOFT, dengan susunan sebagai berikut : n u l ( esc ) l ( esc ) s o f t
(esc) berarti tekan tombol "esc",
ketik NULLSOFT nya tanpa spasi ya

• Putar lagu seperti biasa, sekarang perhatikan windows WinAmp anda.
• Untuk mengembalikan seperti semula, restart aja WinAmp anda.
  

Efek blinking window ini lebih tepat dapat saya gambarkan sebagai perubahan transparansi dari window WinAmp sesuai irama/beat lagu yang sedang dimainkan.

Untuk flashing window ini, ada cara lain yang dapat dicoba, dan juga berjalan baik :

• Buka WinAmp anda
• Pilih Modern Skin
  
• Tekan tombol CTRL+ALT+SHIFT sambil mengetikkan kata NULLSOFT
  
penekanan tombol ini dapat dilakukan pada playlist editornya

3. 2 unta/Lammas
Easter egg kali ini akan menampilkan gambar 2 unta/Lammas yang saling manggut-manggut (red: angguk) [english: nod the head]
Bagaimana caranya ?

• Buka WinAmp anda
• Pilih Modern Skin
  
• Lebarkan main window (window utama) WinAmp anda (window yang ada tombol play, stop, dll) sampai muncul gambar visualisasi beat nya, seperti gambar berikut :

• Tekan tombol CTRL+ALT+SHIFT dan klik gambar diamond yang ada ditengah. Gambar diamond ini sangat kecil ditengah-tengah secara vertikal (diatas tulisan BEAT). Kalau anda tidak melihat gambar 2 unta di kiri-kanan, coba ulangi kembali langkah ini sampai muncul gambar 2 unta di kiri-kanan.
  
Hasilnya kurang lebih seperti gambar dibawah ini :

• Mainkan lagu seperti biasa, dan lihat efeknya. 2 unta tersebut akan mengangguk-angguk mengikuti irama beat lagu.
  

Kata-kata mutiara dari Mozilla
1. Buka firefox anda
2. Ketikkan "about:Mozilla" (tanpa tanda petik) pada bagian address barnya (tempat yang biasanya kita isikan dengan alamat website).
3. Tekan enter dan lihat hasilnya.

2. Ketikkan "about:robots" (tanpa tanda petik) pada bagian address barnya (tempat yang biasanya kita isikan dengan alamat website).

Easter Eggs (Definition) - A hidden message or feature in an application.
Atau dalam bahasa Indonesianya, easter eggs (telur paskah) : pesan / fitur tersembunyi dalam sebuah aplikasi.

Blog Merah Putih

Merdeka !!
Tanggal 17 Agustus 64 taon yang lalu (tepatnya 17 Agustus 1945), bangsa Indonesia menyatakan memproklamasikan hari kemerdekaannya. Tak terasa sudah berjalan 64 taon ya.

Menyambut hari proklamasi Indonesia, maka saya turut serta PIMP MY BLOG :D
(ga mau kalah dengan acara seperti Pimp My Ride, karena saya ga punya ride, ya saya ganti jadi Pimp My Blog aja).

Abrakadabra, blog ku sekarang berubah.... jadi bernuansa merah putih.

Tips: Targetted Google Search

Apakah kalian tau bahwa pencarian Google (Google search) itu bisa ditargetkan ke suatu website tertentu ? Maksudnya, kita hanya mau agar hasil pencarian hanya mencakup halaman-halaman yang ada disuatu website dari keyword yang kita cari.

Cara ini sangat membantu khususnya untuk pencarian-pencari di web-web yang banyak sekali berisi percakapan / tanya jawab seperti di forum-forum. Apabila kita kesulitan menggunakan internal search yang ada disuatu website/forum, kita bisa mengakali pencarian dengan menggunakan Google search.

Caranya ?
1. Masuk ke google.com (ya jelas lah, masak ke haryDotCom ? :D hehehehe).

2. Masukkan keyword berikut : "site:[nama website yang anda ingin cari bahasannya]" (tanpa tanda petik ya) pada tempat search yang telah disediakan oleh Google.
contoh: mau melakukan pencarian topik di forum Travian.co.id, maka ketikkan: site:forum.travian.co.id

3. Masukkan keyword dari bahasan/topik yang sedang anda cari, misalkan anda mau mencari topik / thread mengenai crop lock, maka keyword keseluruhan dari langkah nomor 2 dan 3 akan menjadi : site:forum.travian.co.id "crop lock" seperti pada gambar berikut :

4. Kalau muncul halaman "Google Sorry" seperti pada gambar berikut, masukkan saja kode "Captcha" yang ditampilkan pada tempat yang disedikan dan tekan tombol "I'm Human".

Halaman Google Sorry ini dimaksudkan untuk penyaringan/memastikan bahwa yang melakukan pencarian ini bukanlah program komputer/bot, tetapi manual manusia :D

Blogger Tips: Showing Post Date on Every Post

As we all know, Blogger’s default templates only show a single date for every post that was posted that day. Some readers will find it convenient to have that quick glance at the date on each post, but some will not even notice. This tips is definitely handy if you plan to use a calendar icon as your post date, since the timestamp can be modified.

If you follow and try my previous tips : Change Post Date Become Calendar Icon, using the "<data:post.dateHeader/>" you will get some calendar icon "blank" (no post date in it) for posts within same date.

This is because in default template, Blogger only show a single date for every post that was posted in that day. How to change it so we can show the post date on every post we have ?

Here are the steps to follow :

1. Follow the instruction to change your post date become calendar icon first. If you haven't do this, feel free to read my previous post about that: Change Post Date Become Calendar Icon.

2. Change the <data:post.dateHeader/> with <data:post.timestamp/> like this section:

<div class='post-date'><div class='warnaCoklatPutih'><script>UbahTanggal('<data:post.timestamp/>');</script></div></div>

3. There is no need more changes in your previous javascript code "UbahTanggal". It still runs well for this changes.

4. Make sure you already change the timestamps setting of your blogger template into "mm/dd/yyyy" or "mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss am/pm".

5. Aware for other existence of your <data:post.timestamp/>. If you don't want to show the timestamps anywhere else, just delete that code from your xml template. (Find and delete it).

6. Save your editting, and see the result, is it working? :)

Blogger Tips: Change Post Date Become Calendar Icon

My first tweak in this blogger template is changing the post date become calendar icon.
When you start blogging with blogger, and enable the header post-date function, you should aware of the post date return by "<data:post.dateHeader/>" function of blogger would be like this :

And want some nice calendar icon to replace the normal format of your post date function ?
Here is the final result of your calendar icon would be :

Ok, let me explain the steps :

1. The first thing you have to do is change your "date header format" to become mm/dd/yyyy (8/16/2009). How to do this? go to your blogger account, then chose "Setting --> Formatting, change "date header format" to become what I said before (mm/dd/yyyy) then save your setting.

2. Next step is go to tabs "Template --> Edit HTML". Don't forget to backup your template first. Click on a "Expand Widget Templates" check box. OK lets go to the deep trick.

3. Find this code <TITLE><data:blog.pageTitle/></TITLE> in your HTML. If you found it, put the code below under it :

Sambutan Pertama

First blood :D alias pertamax :D
weleh, malah ketularan virus kaskus :D

Setelah berpikir lama,
kurang lebih 7x24 jam, akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk membuat dan melakukan "open house" blog terbaru ku. Wew, antara maju dan mundur loh. Niat dan tidak, akhirnya lahir juga blog terbarunya si Hary :D (it's me).

Tanggal 15 Agustus 2009, menjadi hari lahirnya blog "Hary Dot Com".
Kenapa tanggal 15 ? It's simple, karena mood gw on hari ini untuk bikin blog baru lagi :D hehehehe. Rencananya sih mau nunggu 17an gitu, biar agak-agak ada nuansa nasionalisnya, tapi takut ntar mood gw pada keburu pigi berjuang ke negara antah berantah alias ga mood lagi, bisa ga lahir-lahir neh ini blog :D

Diantara 2 pilihan.
Yup, gw dihadapkan pada 2 pilihan neh, bukan memilih cewek sih :(
Memilih diantara blogspot ataukah wordpress yang mau kujadikan "bidan" dari blog teranyar ku ini. And the decision goes to......
Sudah jelas terlihat kan dari alamat blog ku ini : http://harydotcom.blogspot.com/, berarti jadi pakai blogspot. (tepuk tangan donk buat blogspot) :D
Bukan kenapa-kenapa, 2 engine ini memang masih yang terpopuler (bagiku) untuk bikin blog, tapi kalau untuk urusan yang gratis-gratis kekna si blogspot lebih banyak memberikan "fleksibilitas", khususnya bisa customize css dan script ^^ (so I can be more creative untuk ngobok-ngobok blog ku ini :D). Tapi kalau mau yang bayar alias pakai duit, saya lebih menyukai wordpress (nah, ini bukti wordpress juga ga kalah, hehehehhehe)

Bikin blog ini bersamaan loh dengan gong dimulainya Liga Inggris (Premier League 2009/2010). Bahkan tadi sambil setup-setup blog dan pilih-pilih theme (nanti akan saya bahas di posting berikutnya soal pilihan theme saya ini), saya multitasking sambil liat liga Inggris, pertandingan antara Wigan melawan Aston (dimenangin oleh Wigan 2-0 tuch). Sekarang aja da masuk pertandingan ke-2, yaitu antara Arsenal Vs Everton. Hayo kalian jagoin sapa ?
